Today it snowed. I wasn't excited to see it. I think it was a three-incher but I could have been mistaken. It was a nice cover of snow. But we had to go out for a Dr's appointment this morning. I bundled up in my long ancient overcoat (which has taken me through many many many snow happenings), and the puppy and the 2 year old dog. The drive wasn't bad, at least to my mind. Dad drove. The streets were wet more than anything.
I was given some documents to fill out. And then I waited for a few minutes and then got seen by a CNA (nurses' aide). She asked me a few questions. I got to pitch my Lularoe and Thirtyone Gifts at her, ha ha. She had a sense of humour, anyway. She said she could do the ThirtyOne Gifts. Now I'll have to find some way to get her email (sooo sad I didn't get that done!). Then she took off and I waited. Oh she read my BP. It was high. uber high. Too shocking for words. Then I was seen by the MD. She told me a few things, mostly that she wanted to give me some meds. I had to reveal that I did have an ongoing BP problem (hated to tell her that) and that I was taking a couple of meds. She said they will be asking the other clinic (Arnett) for my records. After that we decided that it might be ok for me to take the same stuff I took when I was seeing someone at Arnett.
I was asked if I had time to get my blood labs but I mentioned that I have not fasted. So they said to come back for it at a later date. I will be getting seen again by the nurse (to check my BP) and to get checked over by the MD at another time next month.
Then I toddled off to the car and we went home. We went back out sometime later when I received word from the pharmacy that my meds were ready.
Dad also went in to find something for himself.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing. I took a longish nap and now I'm back to check on emails and all that sort of thing.
Business isn't doing anything at all. I get this feeling that it's not going to go anywhere. But I'll keep the usual optimistic attitude. These bad asses are only jiving at me and they will finally disappear from my mind someday.
I think that is about all I wanted to say. Baby seems to be ok.
